I appreciate if somebody cam help with the following situation.

I recently bought Canon Elura80 MiniDV camcorder. This is my first camcorder
and I am a new bee to this camcorder world. I had taken some still pictures using the supplied multi media card(MMC).

I wanted to transfer these images into my computer so that I can share these photos with my friends and family. I followed the insrtuctions given in the manual supplied with the camcorder. Those instructions are only for Windows XP & Macintosh.

I have Windows NT4.0 OS in my computer. When I install the given software,
the computer would not even recognize it. The manual says, in the installation
wizard, it shows the programs to be installed as 2. But in my computer at the same step of wizard installation, it shows nothing.

Has any encountred this issue? Do I need to install any driver
so that it would recognize the photo software supplied with the camcorder?

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you
    Sekhar

Not being a windows person my best advice would be to ask this type of question in a PC forum. I’m sure you’d get a lot more results there because your trouble sounds more like a PC/software issue than a video camera issue.

    Best of luck.
