  XL2 Battery

  I want to get some extra batteries for my XL2. I’m looking at the BP-945. There seem to be “replacement” batteries that have the same model number for MUCH less, but I don’t want to fry my equipment. Should I stick with the one Canon makes or could I use a cheaper replacement BP-945?

  Nevermind. I decided to stick with Canon. Why risk it?
