  Canon XL2 flickering images

  Hi chaps,

  Anyone know the answer before I contact Canon. I use a 20in iMac to edit in FCP, but the problem I am getting appears to be an interference pattern around moving edges, whether camera panning or movement of objects in the frame. On a low value preview in BTV, the problem is chronic. Is this the camera, or the monitor, or what. A significant vestige of the effect persists when monitored on SVideo with a direct feed from the camera to a TV.

  Well, that would be a CAMERA problem.

  (If it does this on any TV monitor you connect it to.)
