  • help figuring out why the white balance seems off

I was shooting with my GL2 today, set up lights and went to manually white balance, like I always do. For some reason the colors were reading too yellowish/reddish after white balancing. When I turned the white balance off, the colors rang true, but each time I tried to manually white balance, it set everything too yellowish/reddish. Can anyone out there help me figure out why this might be and how to correct? Thanks!

No–no windows in the room at all–I had total control. I’m wondering if perhaps I accidentally had the camera mode set at “auto” instead of “manual” even though I set the focus on manual and I was manually white balancing. If that is the default, perhaps, maybe that would screw with the white balance? Any thoughts?
    thanks-
