  Keylight humming on edges

  I’m about to go nuts. Here is the down and dirty.

  • Greenscreen Footage shot on HPX 170 720P DVCPRO HD. Shutter at 60 (slow motion.)
  • Using After Effects CS4 on Mac Intel quad core
  • Using Keylight to key
  • Greenscreen lit well
  • Subject lit well

  Over all it looks good. Now when I apply keylight and try to fine tune the hair edge on the subject (talking head at desk) the hair edge is humming like a bitch. Persons Hair is not frizzy. The subjects arm and hands and upper body edges are looking good. Subject moves a bit but not much.

  Have tried a garbage mat that didn’t do anything
  Tried exporting the footage to 8 bit uncompressed and/also Animation from QT. Got the same results when reimported to AE and keyed.

  Is there another way to sharpen out these hair edges?

  have you ever looked Aharon’s that tutorial? :
