Export for Blu-ray with 5.1 & Stereo options | Premiere Pro CC
I received a ProRes HQ file of my film from a post-production house that includes 12 channels of audio:
5.1 L
5.1 R
5.1 C
5.1 LFE
5.1 LS
5.1 RS
Descriptive Audio (L)
Descriptive Audio (R)
Full Mix Stereo (L)
Full Mix Stereo (R)
M&E Stereo (L)
M&E Stereo (R)
…plus individual audio stems to reassemble the entire mix in either 5.1 or stereo. My question is this:
When prepping the film for Blu-ray, what channels do I need to include in the source file? This is both as I prep a master for commercial replication, but also as I burn screener copies from my desktop.Do I need to export a 5.1 copy and a Stereo copy and let the user select their preference in the player?
Do I only export the 5.1 and a Blu-ray player will sum the audio correctly?
Do I leave all the tracks in place and the little wizards that live inside Blu-ray players will figure it all out?
Sorry, there were no replies found.
