Created the video in FCP7 and added a NEATO reduce noise filter plus a color corrector filter to my video. This is just my guess by now on the compressed MPEG 2 file on long shots that are more than a minute long I’m getting a kind of noise and glitch (like a old time bad TV signal drop out). Weird. Now I’m assuming this is the Neato filter causing my problem because it’s caused problems in the past. Not sure.

So first thing I did was recompress the file out of final cut as one long file and took it back out of compressor one more time thinking maybe if Compressor didn’t have to manage all those filters it wouldn’t hink up on those long shots. Still I’m getting the glitch.

Here’s the weird things. Plays find in FCP. Plays fine as an H.264 compressed file. I just need to compress this file out to a standard MPEG2 file so that I can make a plain old DVD. Now, any suggestions here. I am not a DVD studio pro genius. Can I use a format other than MPEG2 for standard DVD? This is just a 30 minutes of compression.

    Suggestions welcome.
