  • DVD Studio Pro 4: Set highlighted button on menu based on prior selection

Hi everyone. I’m wrestling with a DVDSP issue that’s making me nuts. I have a subtitle menu with two buttons, “Off” and “On”. (There’s only one subtitle language track on this DVD, so it’s pretty simple.)

What I want to do is this: If someone has selected “On” to show subtitles, and at some point comes back to the subtitle menu, I want the “On” button to be already selected/highlighted.

I tried setting a GPRM value when the “On” button was hit (moved 1 into GPRM 2), and then checking that value in a pre-script attached to my subtitle menu (Jump to subtitle_menu::Button_On if (GPRM 2=1)). But apparently it’s not working, or not being seen, or something.

Anyone out there have a suggestion or tip or link to a tutorial or anything?

    Thanks in advance!

    Don
