    Hi,

I’m on a mac pro. I have a movie in FCPX. We did the audio at a studio and they gave us wav files for R and L channels. I need to create a DVD using those WAV files, since they are Dolby encoded.

I tried to output a quicktime from FCP with ACC compression, then use that file to burn a DVD in Compressor. The video was fine but the audio is atrocious. Levels go up and down and sound nothing like the original files.

In the past I would use DVD studio pro, select the video file, then select the two WAV files and make the authoring file from that. But since DVD studio is dead, I have no such option.

Does anybody know how to do this properly with FCPX and Compressor (or any other mac software?)

    Thank you for your help.

I wouldn’t say DVD Studio Pro is dead… it’s just not being developed any further. It still works as an authoring application. Roxio Toast might work for you also… they’ve just released an update.
