  DVDSP 4: Only audio is importing from video files

  I have an ancient version of DVDSP (4) because my G5 mac was the last of the big apple boxes based on the Motorola chip set. It’s been a software upgrade orphan for a long time.

  I haven’t used DVDSP in a long time but did use it successfully many times in the past.

  I suddenly have a big project and am attempting to import .mov and .mp4 files into the assets bin but, no matter what I do or how I import, only an audio file appears in the assets list – no video track or content whatsoever.

  The audio will play so that part is working. Just no moving pictures to go with it.

  Does anyone know what’s going on or what I’m doing wrong?
