  Burn question

  I downloaded Burn to author a DVD, but it always makes me convert to mpg. When my DVD finalized and I played it back on my widescreen TV, it was in a windowbox format. I guess my questions are:

  Is there a free alternative to burn an .mp4 file onto a DVD that will play in an NTSC DVD player?

  and

  Is there a way to NOT convert to .mpg when sending a file to the Burn software?
