Maximum safe AC3 bitrate
Advice on the maximum video bitrate someone can safely use for encoding DVDs is fairly plentiful, but it seems that those recommendations don’t mention a max audio AC3 bitrate.
Based on advice I’ve seen, for the video component I will probably shoot for 7 mbps CBR. But in conjunction with that, is there a max audio bitrate I shouldn’t exceed?
Target audience could include less tech-savvy or third-world country users, so broad compatibility is desirable.
Thanks in advance.
