  Specifically within Adobe Encore

  I s there a way of amending a Blu Ray or DVD compliant file (made in Sorenson Squeeze INSIDE encore.

  eg. I make a video, make the files in sor sq and import and author insode encore. THEN i get an amend to a shot in the middle.
  Id LIKE to be able to export just that bit, whack it through sor sq and then drop it into the encore timeline as an edit and have the audience non the wiser.

  Can this be done. Sometimes its hours to recreate long files for a tiny change.

  peter,
  what you are looking for is segmented based reencoding! this could only be done with high-end-encoding-software like rovi totalcode or CCE HD for a lot dollars.

  otherwise you need to encode the entire timeline all the time.
