  • Weird question – can I KEEP that 60i look?

So I know most folks want to get rid of that “smooth video” look when they drop their stuff to DVD. But I am trying to make a DVD where we actually keep the 60i feel of the piece, and I am having trouble doing that. Is there anyway to ensure that I keep that look when I put this into a DVD compliant MPEG2? I guess I should also mention that it will be going on a DVD with a bunch of non-60i video elements. I am using Encore.

Anyone have any bright ideas? I am thinking that it has to happen in the encode, and I have Adobe Media Encoder, Streamclip, and Compressor, but I don’t have any of the more expensive encoding software like Squeeze, et al.

I would be most appreciative of any help from the CCow gang.
