  Playing a DVD with WMP

  Hello,

  We recently authored a DVD (region-free) and checked it on both Mac and PC before delivering to client.

  There were no issues except one client on their team claims when the he tried to play DVD using Windows Media Player instead of auto playing it prompted him as to which region he would like and then asked to re-insert the DVD. They are concerned other users will have this prompt instead of auto playing.

  I think this is an issue with WMP and perhaps the first time he used WMP with this particular computer.

  Have you guys encountered this problem before with WMP? I think it’s an issue with WMP?

  Yeah…that’s a player issue. Nothing can be done on the authoring side of things
