  Toast 11 vs. Compressor 4 burning Blu Ray disc

  When I use the standard setting in Toast 11 for burning a Blu Ray DVD for a film that is 80 minutes long it says the file size on the disc will be about 14 GBs (original .mov file was 33 GBs).

  When I use the standard settings on Compressor 4.0.4 for the same 33 GB .mov file, it says the file will be 19 GBs…

  Is there a way to make Toast 11 use as much as the Blu Ray disc as possible?

  Do think of it in terms of file size but rather in mb per sec. This is your bitrate and that’s important to know because it’s adjusted according to the length of your piece.
