  • How to remove HVDVD_TS folder & replace with Standard DV project files?

This is driving me nuts! I now understand that DVD Studio Pro won’t export Blu Ray, and that HD-DVD is dead – I’m just trying to produce an authored DVD with menu for SD. Below is the error message I just got – any clues on the fastest-easiest way to modify this would be greatly appreciated!

    THANKS

    M

    (ERROR MESSAGE)

The Build Location folder contains a HVDVD_TS folder(HD DVD content). You must remove the HVDVD_TS folder from the Build Location in order to proceed with Build/Format of a Standard DVD project.

    Two options.

Change the location of where the new project writes the build folder.

Go to the location that’s already selected and delete the folder.

When you go to Build it is telling you where you are putting the build folder.

Thanks for the fast response, but… how does one change the location of where the build folder? Is that something I can change in “preferences” or something? Specific instructions would be greatly appreciated

    thanks,

EDIT: Sorry….misread your post. Yes when you do your build it show you the location on your HDD. Go there and delete that old folder. That setting is in your preferences as well.

Also if you google the error or do a search here, you will find tons of post, videos and tutorials on how to fix it as well. 🙂

Click build and format. In the box that opens. Current Build: (Choose) then pick another location.
