    Hello

I am creating mpeg2 video in Sony Vegas HD Platinum 10 and authoring dvd’s in Sony DVD Architect Studio 5.0. For long video’s that will not fit on either a single or double layer dvd, when would I want to adjust the bitrate, during the render to mpeg2 in Vegas OR during the authoring process in DVDA?

    thank you very much!

When you encode your MPEG 2 file

Remember to always do a bit budget before you encode. There are several calculators you can google that allow you to input the length of your project while telling you the correct bitrate settings
