I am trying to create an effect to replicate proton collisions seen in particle accelerators:

Basically, I am trying to have objects moving across the screen that keep a solid path behind them (tracks). The only ways I have found to create this effect are with “CC Force Motion Blur,” but it’s fading out the object instead of keeping it at a consistent, solid value.

I am thinking there might be a way with Echo, but that hasn’t worked out for me…

Some objects will be curving slightly, or branching off into other objects, so I need to create an effect that displays a solid path of motion, in the same way you would hold down “bulb” on a camera to expose a path of light…
