I’ve been given a bunch of MOV files to put onto a DVD. When I import them into DVDA the 16:9 video is squeezed so that the video is now 4:3 with black bars on the side. The project is set to 16:9. Changing it to 4:3 just results in the same squished image with no black bars. is there a solution to this?

You want the ‘squished’ version. that will display correctly if you set the track to 16:9.

How do you set the track to 16:9? Is that the same thing as setting the project properties to 16:9? I did that, but the DVD still has the black bars on the side. Thanks!

No idea as I’m not a DVDA owner. But that’s an easy one for looking up in the manual or asking their tech support. Just look for 16:9/4:3 aspect ratio property settings or the like.
