Activity Forums DVD Authoring Is this hi-def?

    that is but a DVD is SD (and it is 720×480, there is no 420).

    but with Toast Pro, you can burn hi-def onto a standard DVD (you dont get much data on there).
    So thus if my original was hi-def, then Toast is doing something to it?

    with toast you can burn HiDef on DVD, correct. it will create a AVCHD-disc that could be played in several BD-players but it´ll be no Blu-ray disk then.

    AVCHD-discs coulnd´t have a menu, so if you would like to have a menu on your disc you need to think about burning a real BD.
