Im creating a dvd game using adobes AE, Pr, Ps and En cs5.
Ive rendered out my video with audio from Pr as a dvcprohd 1080p file.
The reason i did not use mpeg 2 which im finding out is the standard, is because in my dvd, the video has the question then when the video ends you either pick team red or team blue in a menu. The menu after each video is made in Ps.
Now the Ps menu after each click is in 1920 x 1080 so when I make the dvd video out it shifts when I use mpeg 2 as oppose to dvcprohd codec.

So if that all makes sense, im wondering does En render out the dvd as an mpeg 2 or do I have to render out the video in Pr as an mpeg 2 or is using dvcprohd out of Pr into En ok?

Any advice would help…im new to alot of this so any direction would be great thanks!

Your DVD will always end up being mpeg2 elementary streams.

So I guess not realizing that Encore or any dvd authoring program will always render out in mpeg 2, does it matter what format you bring into that (Encore) or any dvd authoring program?

    Thanks

    gilbert,
the normal workflow would be to encode the audio/video-assets prior authoring.

encore and DVD Studio could also do it for you, but you´ll have better control if you do this first.

    cheers
