  overlays

  Hi Guys (im using DVDSP)

  I have a dvd menu that consist of a list of places on the left hand side and on the right there is a map.

  So what i want to achieve is when you go over the buttons on the left (towns) a red dot on the right appear where the town is on the map. I know i can easily do this with layered menu but then i will have the problem of double click a button to to activate if on a computer dvd player. So i want to stick to overlays.

  Is there any way i can do this? may a script or something that says if my button is selected show another overlay? any ideas out there?

  Nope, overlays cannot share the same area and the window is always a single box.
