Hi everybody, I am preparing a DVD-9, 3 different titles (15,40 and 65 mins.) I encoded separatelt m2v files from 720p30 (QT HiRes). No problem, but there are about 10 clips randomly distributed on all 3 files where “pixel flicker” appears. The clips have no special filters. The effect could be described as: every 10 frames the image pixelates for 4 or 5 frames. I re-encoded only the affected clips without problem. Any idea?

Thanks Michael, it´s not a typical interlace flicker. Also source is progressive, encoding as well. I did encode a whole file (title) again and the problem appeared randomly in other sections of the encoded file,
