    i need to know if i create a button in photoshop and want to put it into dvd studio pro — what format do i need to export the button from photoshop for it to go into dvd studio pro

    and also — if i am given a psd of a background for dvd studio pro — what format do you suggest i export from on photoshop — jpeg, tiff, targa or png — so that i get a clear picture

    For backgrounds and overlays I always use tif files, but you can use most standard files, the manual list all acceptable types.

    Few things to keep in mind.
    Images need to be RGB 8-Bit, video is non-square so they need to be designed with that in mind. For NTSC image size is always 720×480 (72 dpi) but the aspect ratio is different for 4:3 or 16:9 (.9 or 1.2)
