i have a mpeg 2 file (from compressor, using the 90 min dvd high quality encode preset) which when i import as an asset into dvd studio pro 3, loads and then disappears from the asset box.
i.e. the little bar showing media loading appears but once it is complete, the bin looks empty.

the video file may have been made on compressor 3.something but i figure a .m2v file is a .m2v file…shouldnt matter, right?

what am i doing wrong? rather, what should i be doing correctly here?

    thanks folks!

you may have corruption, files, preference or even the app.

Try another m2v file (make sure the file is not a transport or program stream, audio and video in the same file, if it is that is your problem, dvds need elementary streams, just the video)

If that file works, it is the first file that is the problem, if it still doesn’t work, trash pref, if that doesn’t help re-install DVDSP.
