  DVD burning problem

  Hi,

  everytime I try burning a DVD in my Macbook Pro I get an error message:
  The drive reported an error:
  sense key = MEDIUM ERROR
  Sense Code = 0x73, 0x03

  I’ve a Mac OS X 10.5.5. Drive: Matshita UJ-857E.

  I’ve tryed several different medias (DVD-R, +R – Sony, imation, etc); different speeds of recording; and different softwares: Toast, iDVD, DVD Studio Pro; and I get always then same error message.
  At the same time, I can still read DVDs normally.

  Any suggestions of procidure to solve the problem?
