    Hello!

    On your photoshop layer, did you select the option “Cast Shadows” under material options?

    When you say that you applied the same settings, you mean that you didn’t forget to make the PSD a 3D layer and position it so that it is closer to the camera than the layer it is casting shadows onto, right? Just checking.

    Right. I placed the PSD file in the same place as the text layer, made it a 3D layer, and turned the arrows down on materials for both layers, then made sure all settings were the same.

    Never mind guys. I didn’t have the PSD file positioned on the z deminsion far enough away from the background. I have a beautiful shadow now.
