    Dear Forum,

I am creating the simplest of DVDs so that our client can play our promo film as a pitch for a job. I’m using iDVD authoring software for the first time.

I have a feeling this may have been asked many times before, but for some reason I cannot get iDVD to display my 16:9 Quicktime file of the promo film as 16:9, despite the project being set to 16:9 in iDVD and all other settings being correct AFAIK.

The offending file plays in a standalone QT Pro 7 player as 16:9.

The sequence was set to anamorphic in FCP, saved out using QT conversion in the correct specified aspect ratio. QT Pro 7 confirms this in the movie properties.

Other 16:9 files play correctly in the same iDVD project- just not my edit.

    Aaaargh!

It will probably be very simple.

Thanks in advance to anyone who knows.
