I work at a talent agency and have around 700 performances on DVD that we send to perspective clients depending on who they want to book. We want to move away from sending out DVDs and instead have a screening room where they can watch what was on the DVDs online. The DVDs average 1 hour, and we do not have any soft copies of the DVD content.

My question: Does anyone have an idea I am not thinking of to make this process happen as quickly as possible? Doing it in-house I would use MPEG streamclip to copy the DVD onto my computer as a .mov file. In Final Cut Pro I’ll add bumpers and then export it to the file type we’re going to use online.

Is there a faster way to import DVDs I’m not aware of?

    Thanks!
