Thanks for reading this and for any input.

I would like to burn files to disks for later editing. Can I do this with quicktime files?

I just used my mac to try and do that. I loaded a disk, dragged the 3.7 GB file over to the disk, clicked on the burn icon; and forty five minutes later, after it had claimed to burn the info to the disk; I have a disk that is rejected by my computer when I put it in. Not sure why, the disk just gets ejected with no error message or explanation.

What are the proper steps to burn a quicktime file to a disk?

Is there a better file type for this procedure?

    Any input greatly appreciated!
