  IDVD has audio issues

  I’m using a g4 laptop,1.5 memory,1.65 processor with 10.3.9 OS. Final Cut Pro is 4.5. After editing a project (1 hr 22min) I made a qt file with chapters,audio and video. I then authored in IDVD,ver 6 using the projector template. After authoring the project everything played correctly.Video and Audio. The projector sound effect and the sequence all played.After making the IMG there’s no audio,just video. I also burned a DVD and that also had no audio.
  I then tried the same thing on my desktop with the same result.
  I then went back to the laptop and re-created a 4 minute sequence with the same footage.After authoring the exact same way I now had audio with the IMG. I now went back and tried the full sequence again with no luck.
  It seems obvious inbetween the authoring and making the IMG there’s an audio issue.Can it be FCP? Thanks
  PS I’m usiing an external drive (Seagate) with the laptop and an internal drive with the desktop.
