I have a .m2v file made from an image sequence to use in my DVD project
to be put together in dvd studio pro. The mpeg looks fine when played back in various software players (QuickTime, windows media player) but the finished dvd is significantly brighter and there is noise that is not visible on the darker mpegs.
This problem is only visible on a computer monitor as the dvd looks great on a tv screen. I have even taken the .vob file off the dvd, changed the file extention to .m2v and played it and it looks a lot better.

    whats going on???
