  burning

  Gentlmen

  I have gone through DSE’s vasst training discs on vegas 9 plat+dvd and have made a short movie. I have a samsung sh-203n writer. When I try to burn the dvd from architect I get a “module sfmmcx.cpp line 1974, a hardware error occured” message. Tried with ty dvd-r and sony dvd-r and get same. Is this an architect issue or is my burner bad?

  Sounds like a driver issue- I’d see if you can find and download an update for it.

  You know Noah this drive is touted as one of the best yet the firm ware is very old and no new one exists. Funny how it can work fine for some and not for others. Guess I will try a Sony or an Asus sata drive instead.
