    Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone out there knows of any DVD authoring program that will allow me to burn a SD DVD that will play full frame on an HDTV that has a natural frame size of 16:9.

I’ve tried on DVD Studio Pro, and the largest SD DVD it will go is the standard 720 x 480, same with Encore. We’re shooting on HD now, and the producers would like to at least be able to show the clients dvds in full frame on the widescreen tv’s we have here, without burning to Blu-Ray.

If anyone can help or suggest to look into specific programs that would be a HUGE help!

    Scott

In your compression software, simply set the 16×9 flag. This should display full screen, proper aspect ratio on a widescreen monitor or a 4×3 monitor (letterboxed)
