External Blu Ray Drive
Does anyone have an external firewire Blu Ray drive that they particularly like? I now have the ability to shoot DVC HD for some personal projects, and want to burn the final product to Blu Ray. What am I in for? Do I have to pay authoring fees for personal projects? By the way, I am shooting on P-2 and editing in FCP if it matters.

I think there’s only a couple of them right now and authoring still kinda stinks. That said you can sorta dabbly with the plug-in for Toast. Let’s you make Blu-Ray esque discs on DVD-R:

We got a LG Super Multi-Blue Drive and have not had an issue yet.
