I am building a sequence of still images in final cut pro and wondering what the proper settings are to maintain the best color information and resolution. I am starting with 300dpi rgb images in Photoshop and I have converted them to ntsc and chosen the 10bit yuv setting but not happy with the results. Should I have left the files in thier rgb color space and rendered in rgb? I am using dvd studio pro and compressor.

Also, I am being told that cbr mode at 8.6 is the best choice for compression settings. I am a still photographer and director and I am attempting to create a dvd with 3 spots and 3 still galleries with 20 images each. Any advice on preserving quality is much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Scott
