Is it possible to create a playable DVD that also has extra data, like a PDF, on it? The ultimate goal is to make it so that the movies play as they would on any other DVD, but if you stick it into a computer, you discover that there is extra data on the DVD that you can drag onto your desktop and view. Is this possible??

Yep- that’s no problem. It’s called your DVD-ROM folder. Most authoring tools have a way to set this up. If not you create it yourself and burn the DVD authored image along with the DVD-ROM data all onto one disc.

    It’s as Noah says 🙂

Just make sure your burning software knows how to properly place the files so that they play properly in your set-top dvd player…
