  dvd studio pro background still

  i’m wondering what pixel dimensions to use for the background still in the menu page? it’s a wide screen format dvd from an hd source. i created a background still that was 1920×1080. when i burn the dvd, the image looks very pixelated on a widescreen tv. i know that for standard tv the still should be 720×540 or 720×534 for dv. is there any correlation to this which is causing the pixelation? thanks in advance for your advice. min.

  Still pages should start out as 864 x 480 pixels (square) and when done you should resize them before bringing them into DVDSP to 720×480 (always 72 dpi)
