I am new to DVDSP and trying to create a DVD with the template.

If anyone could, please, tell me: is it possible to use the template transitions in between the video clips inside the track? Or maybe each clip has to be a separate track in order to apply a transition?

    Thanks

Surprised that Trai hasn’t chimed in on this. You should never use transitions in DVDSP – I’ve seen them throw a disc completely off kilter. Instead, do all your editing in FCP (or whatever you’re using), and encode/import the transitions as separate clips.

Thank You, Max, for your reply.
I am working in FCP, and I try to figure out how to use transition like the “Satin Blue” (it’s a cloth floating across the screen) inside my edits. It also exists in Motion templates, but when I import it to FCP I wasn’t able to place my video into the drop zones.
Any idea on how can I incorporate these kinds of moving transitions in my video?

I would really appreciate your input,
    Thanks again,
    Nona
