  Accomodation Edit/other subtitle forums?

  Hi, I found what looks to be an amazing program called Accomodation Edit, but it doesn’t seem to work for me in a lot of different ways. I read the entire manual, e-mailed the engineer of the program, and tried it out multiple times.

  It’s supposed to allow you to edit subtitle transcripts on the fly, while watching the video, just as MacCaption enables you to do, but it’s like 1/10 of the price. So this would cut my time in half easily on subtitle projects.

  So I’m wondering if anyone’s familiar with it.
  Also wondering if anyone knows of forums specifically for subtitling where i could find some experts on the subject.

  there ya go. i figured out the main problem i was having with it. i’m still figuring out if i like it over all or not though.

  I don’t know much about it, but most subtitle prep tools aren’t that intuitive when you start out.
  (A lot of specific functions for subtitle creation are not needed for normal text editing)
  Of course i like my tool the best. Have a look at this:

  At least you can ask any question about it and get an answer from the developer, as that is me…
