HELP! A client provided me with a master, and when duplicated, the copies get hung up and various spots on each different copy. I am not sure if it our Microboards duplicator or if the problem is within the master. Does anybody know how I can tell what is the bit rate on my clients master?

On the PC you can import the elementary streams with something like PGCDemux, and then run them through a bitrate viewer (web search on “bitrate viewer”)

Or you can play the master using PowerDVD, and rt-click during playback and “SHOW INFORMATION”

Check if the master has LPCM audio — that with a high video bitrate can cause problems (if the Author didn’t pay attention to overall bitrate).

    Regards,
