  dvd compression

  Hi everybody,
  any suggestion to obtain the best results with mpeg2 compression?

  I am starting from a HDV 720p24 file,
  used compressor (8 Mbit buffer quality) but still get noise in blacks, a general incrase of brightness, and poor motion quality in scrolling text (made with boris in FCS2).

  What is the hollywood standard in mpeg2 compression?

  The project is a movie, and I woul like to keep the best quality I can.
