  DVD Architect Pro 4.5 won’t burn “Taiyo Yuden” media anymore.

  I recently instally Sony DVD Architect Pro 4.5 along with Sony Vegas Pro 8. I have always used Yaiyo Yuden DVD/CDs for my burning media. Now I cannot use Taiyo Yuden because when I burn with DVD Architect Pro 4.5 I get this error message: “Line 2269 a medium error occured, a power calibration area error has occured.” The drive couldn’t determine the correct power for writing this disc. Use a different writing speed or a different brand of media.”

  Well, other brands of media work but I want to keep using Taiyo Yuden. It worked no problem before the upgrade to Sony Vegas Pro 8 and DBd Architect Pro 4.5.

  Not only this but now Nero and Adobe Audition won’t burn this brand of DVD/CDs either.

  Please help! I just bought this HP 1040i RW drive a few months ago and had no problems burning anything with it until the installation of Sony Vegas/DVD architect Pro upgrades.

  Also, my Adobe photshop won’t work right when Sony Vegas Pro 8 is open.

  Waiting for suggestions…
