    i have an issue with DVD 9s ;

    i need to burn a dual layer project from dvd studio to a dual layer dvd.

    NOTE:

    i dont have a dual layer burner.
    i do have toast 8 titanium
    i am on a mac

    sidenote:

    i have been burning dual layer projects to single layer dvds using toast which compresses the vts file making the project seem glitchy at points.
    this is causing me much headache because my client thinks the DLT will be messed up too.

    is there a solution
    either compression wise?

    or do i need to buy a DUAL LAYER BURNER combined with a software solution?

    whats my best option guys?????

    please give me your advice.

    Best advice is to buy a dual-layer burner. If you are making check discs for the client, recompressing it to fit on a single layer isn’t making a true check disc.
    Be aware, though, that dual-layered burned discs still have some compatibility problems.

    I don’t really use DVDSP that much since I have a different authoring system. However, here’s an article from Ken Stone from last year explaining how to do it.
