  HDV to Blu-ray

  For a year now I have copied my mpeg 2 files from my Sony FX1 HDV camera to my Sony BWU-100 Blu-ray burner in my computer. A good enough software for rendering them from my hard drive or Blu-ray disc on a Pioneer full HD (1920×1080)plasma doesn

  Not sure how BD spec compliant your MPEG is out of the camera. You’ll have to get a BD authoring tool and check it out.

  HDV uses MP@HL profile, and BD specifies only HP@HL as compliant. So far I don’t know of any tool that can change profile of a stream without re-encoding it.
