Too slow ram preview
Hello everyone…
I have a big ram preview issue that I can’t find the way to solve.
I just bought 6 GB RAM for my Quad i7 920 2.67 Ghz,
with a 64bit windows operating system.I bought a tutorials DVD by SternFX.com and I have this one mov video (720X576) that my AE RAM previews too slow.
I tought that my new 6GB (I had only 3 before) will solve this problem but it still takes about 1 second per frame to RAM preview.Is there someone here who can tell me what’s the best setting for AE.
My computer has only ADOBE master suite and Cinema 4D, No Games,No internet, No nothing, it’s my video working station.I’ve tried OpenGL and multi-proccessing but still too slow.
Please help me to setup my computer the best way…
By the way I’m using CS4 (with Quadro FX570 card). Thanks alot… -

One second per frame is not a lot for a complex composition. I was rendering a composition today that took more than a minute per frame.

But remember that I’m talking about rendering a simple video.
Just rendering an imported MOV file without any AE work yet.

Well, I’m pressing the ram preview button on the right of the screen,
is it O.K ?You know… the “kinda’ look like play button” (but not the play button).
Please let me know…
(And by the way I’m a newbie…)
