  • DVD Lab Pro : Preview Function ?

I’m a Adobe Encore DVD user, however now need work at DVD Lab Pro for a complex job. It is great, except I can’t find a “Preview” function which available in Encore to preview the whole project before buring out a disc.

I have searched the help files, but haven’t found anything as of yet.

I am hoping someone can help, Thanks a lot!

DVDLAb Pro 2.x does not have a realtime project preview. You can burn to hard drive using the “TEST COMPILE” option — this will do a quick compile and substitute the video titles with smaller dummy files. You won’t get a true representation of the entire dvd, but it will give you an idea of how the menu navigation will work.

You also have several project reporting options (Project / Generate Report). This will give you an overview of your project assets, menus, buttons, etc…

    Regards,
    George

Thanks, George. It helps a lot for my testing of scripting to GPRM.

Actually, there is a plugin available for free called “Professional Extensions” that will allow you to preview your DVD after compile. Here’s a link.
