Audio Finalization for DVD authoring
I’m editing a documentary in Avid Xpress Pro. I don’t have any kind of audio editing tools so I’ll do all the audio editing in Avid myself.
I’m now going to make a DVD-master for this production (which I will send to the DVD copy house).
What do I need to take in consideration when creating the Audio-track? When I usually finalize for TV-production I use Waves Ultramximizer plugin in Adobe Audition which is a compressor. I then put the limit to -12 and the treshold to -15.
This is usually all I do- but what about this DVD? Where should the audio limit be on a DVD? What other things should I do to the audio track to make it as good and professional as possible?
Sorry, there were no replies found.
