    quick question,

i’ve got a program that’s shot and edited in DV Widescreen format,

it suposed to play off DVD on Widescreen plasmas and 4:3 TVs

When i go to output the DVD using DVDSP, what settings do i use?

16:9 Letterbox, 16:9 Pan Scan and Letterbox, or 16:9 Pan Scan or 4:3?

obviously i want it full screen on the plasmas and letterbox on the 4:3

    HELP?????

Actually, choosing 16×9 anamorphic will create a DVD that plays widescreen on a 16×9 monitor and leterboxed on a 4×3 monitor.

If we’re talking about DVD Studio Pro video track’s display mode- the correct setting in DVD Studio Pro is called 16:9 Letterbox.

    Noah,

Good seeing you at Dv Expo. And yes, you’re right, I forgot, in Applespeak it is 16:9 letterbox. In all other speak its 16:9 anamorphic.
